In Secrets Of The House everywoman/man moves in and out of dark houses, the inner spaces are uncertain and difficult to read.
Each form can be a separate entity or the three forms can come together to make one house.
Black clay fired to 1200C with porcelain figures gilded in 24ct gold leaf.
Light plays on the front of the terrace but hardly reaches the interior. Each pathway leads confidently to an interior but it is an unknown space.
The pieces can stand alone or together.
Smoke-fired porcelain .
Three forms come together as one, supporting and enhancing each other. Where do the pathways lead?

Five small inhabited dwellings live in proximity; each space guarded.

The apertures speak of a huge genetic inheritance and provide brief glimpses of the interior. The form is based on the Hórreos of Galicia that store and protect grain as the body protects its interior.
Smoke-fired terracotta clay
The richly embellished facade is decayed and altered by the passage of time and the forces of nature. The base material begins to push through the gilding. There are more questions than answers.
