Entrances and apertures remain in a form that has been destroyed. The narrative comes from within the viewer, the individual must interpret the story.
The openings draw the eye to the sooty darkness of the inside but they also take the vision beyond the form, beyond the trauma, to a new unknown.

The three separate forms can be reconfigured to create a different whole.
In this piece the apertures are aligned in such a way that the eye of the viewer must move through three different layers to see the space behind.

Openings give piercing glimpses of light that lead the eye beyond the interior. Regularity counterbalances destruction.
